Site Drainage Assessment
The property is walked during or after a rain event, or evaluated using grade measurements, to identify all areas where water flows toward the foundation. Low spots in landscaping beds, areas where soil has settled away from the foundation, and downspout discharge locations are all documented. A drainage correction plan is developed based on these findings.
Foundation Perimeter Regrading
Clean fill soil (typically a mix of compactible fill and topsoil) is brought to areas adjacent to the foundation that have settled below the required 6-inch-per-10-foot slope. Soil is placed and compacted in lifts to create a stable, correctly sloped surface that will remain in position through future freeze-thaw cycles and rainfall events.
Downspout Extension and Discharge Correction
