When this isn't the fix: If a sidewalk panel has been lifted by tree root pressure from a living tree, removal or root management should be addressed before lifting, otherwise the panel will re-heave. Panels cracked into many small pieces may need section replacement rather than lifting.

Small holes, about the diameter of a penny, are drilled through the settled panel at calculated locations.

Polyurethane foam is injected beneath the settled panel, filling voids and lifting the slab to match the elevation of adjacent panels.

Seal, Patch, And Walk Away

Cracks are sealed with NexusPro, injection ports are patched, and the sidewalk is ready for foot traffic immediately after foam cure.

A typical single-panel lift takes 30 to 90 minutes from setup to cleanup. The sidewalk is ready for foot traffic within minutes of foam cure.

If a living tree root has pushed the panel up, foam lifting alone is not the right answer. However, if the root has since decomposed and left a void beneath the slab, polyurethane foam works well. We assess root conditions during the inspection.

The injection ports are patched and NexusPro sealant is color-matched. The repaired panels may show minor color variation from weathering differences, but the surface is safe, level, and significantly more presentable than a cracked or settled walkway.
